Shannen Doherty.

Born on April 12, 1971 at Memphis, Tennessee, where she lived until she was seven. Her father: Tom Doherty, mother: Rosa Doherty and brother: Sean Doherty (born in 1967), then moved to Los Angeles. Shannen has been working steadily in the entertainment industry since Michael Landon discovered her in an episode of "Father Murphy". Landon cast her as Jenny Wilder when she was just 11 years old in the series "Little House: A New Beginning".

Shannen then went on to star in the series "Our House" with Wilfred Brimley and Deidre Hall, and in "beverly Hills, 90210," she played the Minneapolis transplant and teenage twin sister of Brandon Walsh (Jason Priestly) on the popular Aaron Spelling drama from 1990 to 1994.

Moving effortlessly between television and film, Shannen starred with Cristian Slater and Winona Ryder in the 1989 black comedy "Heathers," which became a big success. Other films she done are teen comedy "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" with Helen Hunt and Sarah Jessica Parker, Ron Howard's "Night Shift," and "Mall Rats," directed by Kevin Smith.

Shannen had also won rave reviews for her performance as the famous "Gone With the Wind" authir in the television movie "A Burning Passion: The Margaret Mitchell Story," and she starred opposite Antonio Sabato Jr. in the showtime original film "Jailbreakers," directed by William Friedkin.

Shannen then went on to star in the mini-series "Gone in the Night" and "Robert Kennedy and His Times," as well as the TV movies "Sleeping with the Devil," "The Ticket" and "Friends 'Til the End."

After her best known role as Brenda Walsh on "Beverly Hills 90210," Shannen returns to the series television and re-teams with Aaron Spelling in the suspenceful drama "Charmed," where she played Prudence "prue" Halliwell, the eldest of three powerful witches. After 3 amazing seasons Shannen left the show in 2001 to persue her career as a director.
